Modular Jetting System for Network Rail

Ian Humphreys(UK) Ltd constructed this simple high pressure jetting system for cleaning storm water railway drainage. This system is primarily for use with a 360 degree Road/Rail Vehicle (RRV) and trailers with a water bowser and jetting/ vacuum unit.

This system has proved a very flexible and versatile combination, especially the use of the 360 RRV to position the jetter directly over the catch pit, enabling the use of the reel in conjunction with the vacuum tanker to complete jetting and silt removal in one simple operation. This system saves time and money. With the RRV present, any breaks found in the drainage system can be repaired immediately.
